   IT'S PARTY TIME

This June, treat your “Sugar Daddy”… lover… lifetime
companion… or simply yourself to a fun-filled Father’s Day
weekend in ole El Paso with classmates from over
three decades ago! This gathering of three classes is destined
to be the most enjoyable and rewarding reunion you have
ever experienced! Not only will it shadow the few you
may have attended in the past… it will build connections and
set the stage for your Golden Reunion in just a few years.

Day 1 (Thursday, June 12th)

Unless you are one of the lucky ones who live in El Paso, you will probably be arriving on this date.
If so, make sure you check out our host hotel for group rates before you come. It is the Holiday Inn Sunland.
Just say it’s for the 2008 AHS Reunion.

After everyone is settled, we will have our first Meet ‘n Greet in Bar of the hotel starting promptly
5:00 PM. (Or 4:00, or 3:00)
It’s a cash bar so bring Money. And don’t be late because this is an
important “warm-up” for the long, hot weekend!

Day 2 (Friday, June 13th)

Friday the Thirteenth” will not be what’s it’s cracked up to be. After the Meet ‘n Greet last night, you’ll get to sleep it off this morning.
When you awaken as fresh as a cactus flower, you’ll be able to spend most of this day in private with your special friends or maybe someone
new you met at the Meet ‘n Greet last night. The bottom line is that this special day will belong to you and your “click”… at least until 6:00 PM.
Then we will meet at the
El Paso Desert Botanical Garden , 4200 Doniphan Road, El Paso, TX 79922
          (915) 584-0563

The El Paso Desert Botanical Garden is a peaceful world of beauty and wonder surrounded by breathtaking garden displays,
a koi pond, a plaza with soothing fountain, amphitheater and gazebo. .

Hours are from 6:00pm to 11:00pm

Formal Garden: Stroll through the breathtaking formal gardens that exemplify how native and adaptive plants in this
garden can be adjusted to create a traditional formal garden
There will be a delicious catered dinner
at the Gardens
Mexican Buffet
Drinks will be available: Beer, Wine, Soda’s and water

We will have a DJ Playing oldies from 7:00pm to 10:00pm

Day 3 (Saturday, June 14th)

Since you probably closed down the bar late last night, we won’t start our long tour of the
Austin High School campus TIME 10:00 AM     We plan to visit every room of the school
so bring your camera to show your grandkids where you received an award, spent
time in detention, or did something in between those two.

                      Austin High School 2002

After school, we’ll have a “recess” up until 5:00 PM, so you’ll have a chance to get back with your click and do some more reminiscing…. Until
Things cut loose again at 6:00 PM we will all gather again at the Longhorn Saloon. This is not you average run-of-the-mill, West-Texas, hole-in-the-wall bar.
This is El Paso’s Premier Country Bar and Dance Emporium. (At least, that’s what their web site says.)

              NEW
Saturday June 14 8:30 a.m. Tennis tourney at Austin. There are two new courts plus as many others that we may need. The coach, Alex Alvarado, has graciously offered to monitor the tournament and give official tennis team T shirts to the participants. He can be reached at cell phone 915 240-6879. Single illimination sets for doubles (or singles if anyone wants to play after doubles tourney), and we will schedule everything so we are done by 11:30 a.m. No cost, except each participant just bring a new can of tennis balls.

Saturday afternoon 1:30 p.m. Bowling at Bowlero Lanes 8941 Dyer Street. Cost is $6.50 per person for 3 games including shoes. That's a good price. Open bowling, or if folks want to divide up into 2 man teams, we can have a little tourney. This will be over about 3:30.
Interested participants may contact me by email. That's the best way for me to keep track of things rather than phone; but if someone needs to talk to me my cell is 915 588-1320.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Bert
